Widget Position Behavior
In this guide, we'll show you how to configure the widget position behavior in your Engagement Widget™. The feature allows you to set your widget as either "Fixed," "Anchored," or "Floating" on your website or funnel page.
First, navigate to the Engagement section of your ChatHQ Portal. Click on Widget Settings, and open Main Widget Settings. Here you can configure the Engagement Widget™ on your web page.
Once you're in widget settings, scroll down to the section labeled Widget Position Behavior.
Here you have three different options for positioning your widget on your page:
What It Does: In this mode, the widget stays in a fixed position on your webpage.
How to Set It: Select Fixed from the options under Widget Position Behavior.
What It Does: In anchored mode, you can move the widget up and down the page.
How to Set It: Select Anchored from the options under Widget Position Behavior.
What It Does: This option allows the most flexibility—you can move the widget in any direction: left, right, up, down, and even diagonally across the page.
How to Set It: Select Floating from the options under Widget Position Behavior.
After making your selection, don't forget to save your settings. You'll find the Save typically located on the left-hand side of the interface.
